About the 2019 Infiniti Q50:

The 2019 Infiniti Q50 is a small luxury sedan from Nissan’s upscale sister brand. It is Infiniti’s best-selling car. Sleek and luxurious, the five-passenger compact car features a peppy engine, smooth ride, and comfortable cabin.

The Q50 was last redesigned for the 2016 model year. It has not seen major change to its interior or exterior since its 2016 redesign.

The Q50 was the first Infiniti model to wear the Red Sport badge. The top-of-the-line Red Sport badge provides 400 horsepower. It competes with high-performance lines from Mercedes-AMG, BMW, Audi, and Lexus.

What’s New in the 2019 Infiniti Q50?

Infiniti added forward collision warning and emergency braking to its list of standard safety features for the 2019 model year. The hybrid Q50 was discontinued.

The 2019 Q50 comes in four trims: Pure, Luxe, Sport, and Red Sport.

What Does the 2019 Infiniti Q50 Compete With?

The 2019 Infiniti Q50 competes in the highly saturated small luxury sedan market. The Q50 interior may not have the same upgraded features and look as its rivals, but it is comfortable and roomy. When compared with competitor cars, the 2019 Infiniti Q50 cabin is noisier and missing some key technology features. These include Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. However, it offers a good ride and comfortable surroundings at a lower price than most.

The Infiniti Q50 Red Sport competes with the Lexus F, BMW M, Mercedes AMG and Audi RS high-performance lines. The 3.0-liter, twin-turbo V6 makes 400 horsepower, more than certain versions of the BMW 3 Series or Lexus IS.

Exterior Design of the 2019 Infiniti Q50

The 2019 Infiniti Q50 looks sporty and elegant. It has aerodynamic and sculpted sides, curved rear windows and a low, wide stance. All models get LED jewel-headlights and LED fog lights and 18-inch alloy wheels. A carbon-fiber rear spoiler, welcome lighting and a power moonroof come standard on upper trims.

Exterior colors include Graphite Shadow, Liquid Platinum, Dynamic Sunstone Red, Black Obsidian, Pure White, Midnight Black, Majestic White, Iridium Blue, Hagane Blue, and Mocha Almond.

Interior Style in the 2019 Infiniti Q50

The Infiniti Q50’s cabin features clean design and comfortable seating for five passengers. The Infiniti Q50 has a comfortable and roomy interior. The front console includes two cup holders and a covered storage area. Back seat pockets offer additional storage. The Infiniti Q50 has ample space in its cargo area, which can be further expanded by folding down the rear seats. This feature provides a significant advantage over other sedans.

Choose optional aluminum or wooden accents to line areas throughout the cabin. The Q50’s interior may seem plain compared to its rivals from German and Japanese brands. The Q50 does offer plush and comfortable seats for the driver and passengers.

All engines are paired to a seven-speed automatic transmission. Rear-wheel drive is standard, and all-wheel drive is offered.

Should I Buy a 2019 Infiniti Q50?

The 2019 Infiniti Q50 is a small luxury sedan providing a decent if noisy ride at a reasonable price. However, rival models from Mercedes, Audi, BMW, and Lexus provide more features, including Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration.
